I'm having the same issue in xfce4 within Ubuntu 22.04. However, xfce4 by default still seems to be running on Xorg, at least it says `echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE` `x11` So maybe...

Thanks a lot for the quick response! I've put both variables into the `/etc/environment` and rebootet + restarted eclipse with all my tons of windows/tabs reopened. So far, it works...

I didn't have the bug for quite a while, but unfortunately, now it has reappeared, in spite of the environment variables being set. As usual, only a restart has helped....
