I have the same issue, but a workaround I have found is to temporarily switch to the plain editor, and then delete the list item.

Android has the same issue. One workaround is to temporarily switch to the plain editor and prepend two spaces to the list item that you want to indent.

It seems to work for me without passing the useragent command.
