Can't detect selection in other file managers

In my preferred file manager, Tablacus (and probably other non-Explorer file managers as well), Shell cannot tell what is selected. Is support for this going to be added anytime soon?

Edit: In this image, I have an item selected, but Shell doesn't "notice." image
