+1 Lack of access to `Termux` filesystem keeps me from switching to Simple Files from my default file manager.
So this is unsafe? Should I close the issue?
What's the status of this? I would be even willing to **fund** this (at least partially) if someone can make a HyperionNG flatpak on flathub.org with Wayland support out-of-the-box.

@Lord-Grey I can donate, but I'm not really sure how it works and how much $$$ is needed for this.
To anyone insteresed, I managed to record on Wayland this way on Fedora: ``` sudo dnf install v4l2loopback podman wf-recorder sudo modprobe v4l2loopback exclusive_caps=1 card_label=VirtualVideoDevice yes | wf-recorder -c rawvideo...
Can confirm, a pity Hyperion isn't available as flatpak, this would ease installation and updating
Wouldn't it be better to auto-fetch current instances from things like https://redirect.invidious.io/ or https://github.com/zedeus/nitter/wiki/Instances or https://searx.space/ instead of maintaining a hardcoded list? It should of course be possible to disable...
I'd like this feature too it would make Syncthing take care of contacts without having to remember to export a `.vcf` file or setup CardDAV.
What's the status? This is a serious issue IMO.
