No it did not, yet , only the onclick part is solved but deleting the selected entry still not coded

you mean in inside the method swapPlaces() which is inside the PlaceListAdapter.?

i just applied this solution but the recyclerView shows nothing on the Mainactivtiy screen. the location i in DB but it is not shown on the screen

thanks all but i still have an issue with the ringer issue, when the geofences switch is disabled the silent mode does not get disabled and the phone still continue...
