[**Issue 8128**](https://github.com/cypress-io/cypress/issues/8128) is similar and has a workaround that may be worth referencing here.

@ViRuSTriNiTy Cypress does support [adding browser extensions](https://docs.cypress.io/api/plugins/browser-launch-api#Modify-browser-launch-arguments-preferences-and-extensions), but the extension must be locally referenceable.
