@Stanzilla I don't think that would be necessary because the changelog would be truncated in the update cards (truncated to 3 lines here)
I'm thinking we should have a series of fallbacks - first check for release notes via GitHub Releases (which would be the easiest, since we wouldn't have to parse anything),...
This [package](https://www.npmjs.com/package/font-manager) seems to do exactly what we would need, but it's old and unmaintained :confused: - maybe it would be worth trying to take it over?
In this case, I think rather than a native select, we should use some kind of suped-up select similar to the SelectListViews we currently use for the Command Palette, Symbols...
I also reproduced this with 0.207.0 (both on OS X 10.10.3). The two packages I updated were atom-beautify and git-plus, in case that turns out to be relevant.
I've consistently reproduced this with atom-beautify on every recent update; but, for comparison, the button state changed correctly with minimap.
