Did you try to reset the extension cache? See the FAQ: https://github.com/tintinweb/vscode-inline-bookmarks/blob/0fceb9f896a0a3a2ec09e2bcc5e741dd083f488a/README.md?plain=1#L88-L90 I also had duplicates, and resetting the cache solved the issue.
