I would guess the issue is that vite can't statically analyze createWorker and so throws an error? Does that match what you've discovered? Also, this will not affect library mode...

I tried this out autoscrolling with svg's here https://github.com/CM-Tech/timeviewer and the cpu/battery cost was higher than I would've liked... I'm not sure if that is fixable with 60fps scrolling animation....
