tcsh install issue Ubuntu 14.4

Cloned the repo for autojump today. First I ran ./install.py Seems to finish ok then prints the message Please manually add the following line(s) to ~/.tcshrc: [[ -s /home/ptgd73/.autojump/etc/profile.d/autojump.sh ]]...

After keying C-u C-u C-c SPC emacs is unresponsive to the point where it must be quit with the task manager. The CPU fan begins to spin after several seconds....

Split window vertically rather than horizontally.

1) It would be nice to have a customize option which determines vertical or horizontal split. Currently peep-mode splits the window horizontally only? 2) How about binding the letter 'q'...

If a window has long lines, so that its scrolled to the right, then the window number can't be seen when running ace-window.
