Had the same happen to me today , i managed to fix it by cleaning stuff : removed WallpaperSource line in ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc rm -Rf /home/$USER/.cache/wescene-renderer/* rm ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/431960/* uninstalling and reinstalling...
