You'd need to have a look at the debug visualisation to see what the generated octree looks like at that point, hard to say any more just from that screenshot...

Ah ok, I haven't tried the linux toolchain. I'll rename this issue to reflect the problem. It should be fairly straightforward to fix, but I'll need to find the time...
