I think I find the root cause, after running deploy.sh, the pod prometheus-adapter should be deleted manually in order to be recreated so that new configmap can take effect.

I have the same problem in version "0.7.2"

I had the same problem using grafana 10.1.1-1, Chromium 89.0.4389.90, WIndows Server 2019.
