Yep, I just tried it myself. This theme is not working with the newest Aseprite version. Going to upload a new version later today. Thanks for reporting!

Did update it to the newest Aseprite version (1.1.13) in https://github.com/michidk/Aseprite-DarkFlat-Theme/commit/0328a60fb74369eefee4108253e76a0ab5cba70d. Still not working. Seems to be a bug in Aseprite.

Now it does work for me. Could you please update to the newest version of Aseprite and try it, too? @EmeraldEelEntertainment

Did you press the "Select" button or the "Apply" button, after selecting the theme in the list?

I fixed it by removing all files from the storage folder (via ftp) whoose name contained ä,ö,ü or ß.

Are there any news? Is somebody working on this?
