I would also appreciate this feature. I have a comprehensive passive/active climate control system and can’t complete it without the ability to set target temperature.

Home Assistant shows temperature set point and appears to work, however the set point doesn’t change and HA will eventually revert to original set point. I have enabled debug logging....
