[asynctest](https://pypi.org/project/asynctest/) doesn't work with Python 3.11. It looks unmaintained. Switch to [pytest-asyncio](https://pypi.org/project/pytest-asyncio/)?

Oh, so the tests on Python 3.7 do pass, they just need a very long time. 46 minutes vs. 1-2 minutes. I still propose to drop support for Python 3.7....
