Is anyone having these issues with OpenWRT ALSO running through Gluetun VPN, and if not does that help at all? I'll look at making max connections configurable but I suspect...

Is anyone having issues on windows running Bitmagnet through gluetun VPN? If not, this may fix any issues. See the docker compose example in this repo.
