Not sure how I could test it. I don't have a similar camera :-/ I use Qt5 to detect camera devices, what makes it a general problem with the framework....
Only for my understanding: You want to use an IP camera, which probably serves some kind of video via ethernet (MPEG, MP4, ...) and use it as the client's camera...

Hi @TheCod-e The server doesn't use encryption. It uses a custom protocol for streaming which obfuscates the real data.
Yes of course. - Adding SSL for TCP (Controlling) - Adding one of: DTLS, IPSec, ... or some other/custom for UDP data.
Sorry no idea right now. Might be a problem that the video is rendered with OpenGL.
