@acozzette Interesting to see upb is now a part of the protobuf repo. Do you think we should still keep the [upb module](https://github.com/bazelbuild/bazel-central-registry/tree/main/modules/upb) in the BCR for future versions?

@Wyverald I don't think we need to fix anything from Bazel side, but maybe we can give some warnings if any well-known repos are generated by module extensions? Especially, `platforms`,...

https://github.com/bazelbuild/bazel/pull/17112 provides a way to remove all jar files under third_party directory.
