I've reproduced the bug. This will be fixable after #7459 is merged.

Fixed in #7976 and #7987.

The pin connector from #7459 might be a good fit for selecting JACK outputs and routing to them, though if we wanted to try that, it could probably be done...

@sakertooth Thanks! I noticed an issue when trying to open 64-bit OTT though, and it didn't seem to be happening on master, so I'd like to investigate that first

I just did a quick test and VST preset loading/saving seems to still be working fine. If there are no objections, I'll merge this PR in a couple days.
