Just following up here.. I believe the frontend changes are complete in nextcloud news.

The first message is also opened after moving a message out of the current folder. Ideally the next (or previous) message in the current folder should be opened.

@jancborchardt I'll hold off on the new issue for now. I can't seem to reproduce it right now in v1.14.0-beta1

It would be nice if this was a configurable option. Most imap clients default to 1 line but have the option to disable or change the number of preview lines...
