You need to have a way to compile a kernel module for that hardware. Are you able to do that ether on the device itself or by some other way?

Or the function RTMPSetSupportMCS trashes the stack....on my system the VHT is not working and "iw list" reports 8x8 AC capabilities...so there is something wrong with MCS rates.
