I've no issue with `ui-gmap-map-control`. I've tested this directive using the jsbin from the `ISSUE_TEMPLATE` [view jsbin](http://jsbin.com/jukewuw/edit?html,js,output)

I'm having the same Issue. - OS: Ubuntu 14.04 - Gradle version: 2.3 - Java version : 1.8.0_72
