ah that would be the reason. We do not support unreleased version of Neovim and there are breaking changes in Neovim 0.8 nightly that are not compatible with the current...

There also could be conflict with LunarVim. LunarVim does some weird things to make it "separate" and it doesn't necessarily achieve true separation. But in this case, it is definitely...

I have pushed an update to the documentation website as well as the README here that specifies that "Stable Neovim" is a requirement
