Have you at any point considered moving to [Bunny](https://github.com/ruby-amqp/bunny)? Looking through the amqp gem repo it seems that they've been recommending switching over. I'll raise the same issue in amqp...

A bit late to the party, but if someone's still looking, the original [Sun XACML programmer guide](http://sunxacml.sourceforge.net/guide.html) is still mostly relevant.

Check out https://github.com/TU-Berlin-SNET/tresor-pdp/tree/master/modules/geoxacml - it seems fairly feature-complete and tested.
