Has there been any update on this? Or has the issue been fixed in the new lit repo? It's really stopping me adopt CSP while using lit-element

Needs to be upgraded to version 4 now

This plugin is useless because of this major design flaw.

I got this to start working again by upgrading to [email protected] and using @lit-labs/[email protected](which uses 5.3.3 internally)
