Some stuff like that might end up in the planned "Chaos mode". I haven't fully nailed down what features that mode will have yet.

Spell flashing can now be disabled in the current version. I plan to look into other flashing when I get time.

Same issue here on a Pixel 4a with Android 13. In addition the "Download Playlist" button lights up when clicked but doesn't seem to do anything.

This is a pretty good idea. I'll try to take a look at the implementation when I get a chance. May merge this into a post-tournament release.
