It just reset for me in Safari (again) where do I look for the storage error? Does this help? 
Interestingly I saw "Persist Settings" for the first time yesterday. Today it is gone agian (both times Safari)
That is probably true, but I'm running Safari Version 15.4 (17613.1.17.1.13) My apologies for not including that info. How does one "undo" the Persist Settings if needed?
In Safari it is under Privacy but removing that doesn't give me the choice of Persisting settings. So 🤷🏻♂️
