I think I've sorted out the problem by simply putting the files in the working dir (but 3 files: 1 corresponding to the period of the model run, 1 period...
I did reinstall mapview and leafem but unfortunately the issue still persist, thank you for your efforts (much appreciated), your package is outstanding in any case
