Should/can a separate issue be opened to support this for non-NGINX Plus users? I'm looking to replicate [cookie affinity available in ingress-nginx](https://kubernetes.github.io/ingress-nginx/user-guide/nginx-configuration/annotations/#cookie-affinity).

Would it be possible to add a note to the documentation that mentions that spaces and quotes should _not_ be used? I encountered the same issue and @dflook suggestion helped....
