It was weird because what I experienced was a steady climb in the bandwidth usage, then with just one more client it suddenly spiked and everything jammed up. 

Also can confirm on KDE Plasma. 50 is too high for me as well.

I can confirm I am also getting this since updating to HA 2024.1.0. I am currently on 2024.1.3 and still can't use scenes.

I can confirm the issue is still present in 2024.2.1 as well.
