Cannot install bpy: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'svn': 'svn'

Same for me: Once I installed the requirements shown on the wiki page https://wiki.blender.org/wiki/Building_Blender/Linux/Ubuntu (which includes subversion) the installation worked for me.
