Hi @ipostol , can you recommend any donation or informational sites that we can point to?
I disagree that IonSim should automatically correct for this. We could improve the error message, like ``Incompatible basis. Make sure the format is (ion, radial, axial)``.
Numbers from Ytterbium are from Thomas's lab ... based on last wavemeter reading
Where should we document this? In the code itself, or on docs.ionsim.org ?
From joe -- especially wants to look at numerical methods, and make sure nothing could be obviously improved.
there is a code review of hamiltonians.jl in #52 . I think this issue does not contribute anything else.
I think it's a nice idea to switch to Unitful. Do you think we should do it now, or wait?
the first step is to see what it takes to implement this. (how hard is it?)
