No config files get created

I downloaded jabberd2-2.3.5 and followed the instructions on the wiki page https://github.com/jabberd2/jabberd2/wiki/InstallGuide-InstallJabberd2 . /usr/local/etc/jabberd2 directory does NOT get created and NO xml files get created.
