@nsoranzo Without the canonical source of sniffing order the results will be different. I think the registry needs to be created using the sample config in order to match sniffing...

`example_datatype_registry_for_sample` works when moved in the proper place but also needs to be modified to have the correct path to the folder with converters (defaults to `converters_path="lib/galaxy/datatypes/converters"`)
