Little addition: Upgrading to 4.2.1 did not solve the issue. Edit 03.05.2022; Upgrading to 4.2.2 did not solve the issue. Edit 07.07.2022: Upgading to 4.4.0 did not solve the issue....

 In emails / within the editor the default field get's lost after saving.

I'd love to use the new builder. But, I could not find any functionality like the dynamic content in the Grapesjs builder, so I switched to the old version.

This issue is still active in 4.4.1
