I agree with @DanielEckl the current 1.5 release tarball is unusable.

This issue has been fixed in https://github.com/CCExtractor/ccextractor/pull/1645 for leptonica detection in configure and is already fixed in https://github.com/CCExtractor/ccextractor/commit/0264e7da2be67182deb031228eb07e6ed4943c81 for src/lib_ccx/ocr.c fail to build with leptonica >= 1.83

This issue isn't related to cython I did a rebuild with cyton 3.0.10 in stable and the error remain.
