I've now tried it on my Linux Mint (20.3 Cinnamon) Laptop, too, and it works perfectly fine here. Seems like a Windows-Only problem.

I've also tried that, and it starts completely normal (like if it's just ignoring that flag). OS: Windows 11 Pro 21H2 (64-bit)

Can confirm this issue. Octoprint running on a Raspberry Pi 4 with a usb camera. 

I guess it would be pretty much impossible to automatically create new accounts, as you need a phone number and an e-mail address for registration.
