Thanks for your answer. I created docs/assets/images folder and moved all my images there however this unfortunately did not solve my issue. I had a brief look at the code...

It would be great if you put that in the wiki. Would be easier for node beginners.

Thank you @guillaumechereau your understanding is correct. If you point me in the right direction in scripting I am happy to work on this functionality :)
