not working in linux at all

i'm trying build a [flight simulator wireless dongle](http://www.multirotorguide.com/guide/arduino-as-wireless-rc-simulator-dongle-usb-rc-sim-adapter/). but for some reason, Linux (manjaro, i3) does not detect it at all. any idea why?

please switch to openrgb w/ the sdk, this will add support for almost every keyboard in existence.

have not run unit tests but i cant see why this wouldn't compile
