First of all. Thank you for your response. It is not normal nowadays to find a good and well maintained project. Or its just me finding not the right ones....

At the moment i don't have time for this, which would take me quite a while because i'm more of a backend guy.

C2 and C5 capacitor, ceramic or tantalum?

I would guess that its a normal ceramic capacitor, as there are only very few 10µF (+25V 1206) tantalum caps on Digikey available. It also doesn't seem to be necessary...
