A temporary fix has been implemented on the mv-optimization branch ([link](https://github.com/google/weather-tools/tree/mv-optimization)). Further work is required to prepare the changes for merging.

We haven't observed this issue recently, and it's not implemented in WDL and WDLv2. However, implementing this would serve as a great safety check, so we should proceed with it....

Same here. I'm also getting this error.
