Interpretation of links=all when setting wikibase=Commons

Open lokal-profil opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

When creating a list with wikibase=Commons and links=all the generated links all point to Wikidata, even the ones for the main item (I.e. the Wikimedia Commons M-id).

Linking to Wikidata makes sense for most columns with the exception of item/label/description.

See this table as an example

Desired behaviour would be for item/label/description to link to Wikimedia Commons (item via http://commons.wikimedia.org/entity/M... but remaining columns to go on linking to Wikidata.

What is this wikibase parameter? I could not find any info on it anywhere. I have the problem in this gallery table that it prepends "Commons:" to the Commons category links which were retrieved using p373. I would like to have one link point to the wikidata item and one to the Commons category, maybe p373 would also be useful in your case.

It's an undocumented parameter which, if set to wikibase=Commons allows Listeria to work on SDC data rather than Wikidata. You can see an example of it in action at this example.
