@MiroslavGrozdanovski thanks for looking into this! a problem with the approach you propose is that the scroll-offset of the select panel is calculated with the index of the selected option...
It seems to be quite hard to find a solution for this. If anybody has an idea, please give it a try
Thanks for the suggestion. However, on a mobile device with iOS/Chrome, the search input is not visible initially: 
same here. this is not related to the Angular.JS integration, but to zingchart itself, since we see the error in an Angular application.
