removed angle brackets from <username>

minor bugfix - the angle brackets in the description for gpg encrypt were not behaving as intended. Removed as the clearest, most expedient solution.

minor bugfixes for dictionary.py

Two fixes: - Removed superfluous iterator i. - enabled get_slot to return custom value for default try/except added to get() to handle default string rather than node
