@baobabKoodaa could you please start Mist from the terminal and check for any error message? Also what application/service did you use to create the account keyfile?

Make sure to use `0.8.9`. In earlier releases the importer did only work for pre-sale wallets.

@Bitbobb did you ever see this onboarding screen?  This will popup and ask you for a password if there was no `json`-file in the `%APPDATA%\Ethereum\keystore` folder found. Unless you...
