There is a regression somewhere in the code. The information from the original bug report is sufficient to track it down.

I've pushed a temporary fix. A full fix really needs some more fundamental changes which will take a while. Leaving this issue open for now.

When importance is the same, can you reorder the result by the number of words from the query actually showing up in name and city (and possibly state)?

The address comes from [Strada Provinciale Carsulana ](https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/77013292) which goes through both municipalities. Duplicate of #328.

Reopening this as #328 only covers the case for addressing. Doing reverse geocoding we'd have to do a similar on-the-fly computation against the input coordinates.

I'll leave that to a user contribution to enhance.

No. The date needed is the date of the data imported. That is not necessarily NOW(). You can get it from the diff files.

They are ordered by OSM type/ID. You'd need to scan the whole file and find the maximum date.

It's in scope but we are still discussing to what extent. Tool support for country defaults basically means an easy mechanism to determine for each OSM object which country it...

It's technically possible but we are a long way off from a practical implementation.
