tray icon shows three dots instead of icon

What happened?
I had devpod appimage installed before. Then, I chanted to using the flatpak. But now, when I open the application, the tray icon shows 3 dots instead of the application icon

What did you expect to happen instead?
That the appropriate application icon would show

How can we reproduce the bug? (as minimally and precisely as possible)

  • run devpod via the appimage file
  • delete the appimage file
  • install devpod via flatpak
  • run devpod via flatpak

I tried rebooting the machine to verify if it was not some kind of cache. I also tried removing everything related to devpod (~/.devpod , ~/.cache) before starting the flatpak

Local Environment:

  • DevPod Version: flatpak says v0.6.10, but app screen says 0.7.0-130 linux x86_64
  • Operating System: linux
  • ARCH of the OS: AMD64

Anything else we need to know?
I'm running debian 13
