thanks, i was able to join Slack now. i'll close this, though it sounds like it might be an ongoing problem.
with PR #448, Sublime now works on FreeBSD. the errors about "Didn't expect JSON" are still there but don't seem to affect functionality, so this issue can probably be closed...

right, it's still accepted for `arp -s`, but not for `arp -d`.
pushed a minor change to replace "This -d flag" with "The -d flag" which is more standard English.
fwiw, `` has: ``` #define EX_USAGE 64 /* command line usage error */ ``` but i have the impression these codes are considered a bit deprecated nowadays.
i think i might have unnecessarily confused this discussion by mentioning sysexits.h, sorry! but, if this is no longer used that should be mentioned somewhere (including in the header itself).
