Zhuangzi is saying how big tree not able to catch mice because too big, but the cat can. In the middle of the story it says 东西跳梁 , 东西 means "the animal" (another less common/older meaning in addition to the modern "the thing"), i.e. the cat, and 跳梁 by itself means to jump high, or jump up and down). Looks like a person with learning disabilities.
